What is Raw Food ?

As we said in the introduction, Raw Food means, in Portuguese, raw food. The principle of this diet is raw or cooked foods up to a maximum of 42 ° C. In addition, frozen, processed, processed or refined foods are not allowed. Basically, organic and undercooked food.

It is believed that the more the food is cooked, the more enzymes are lost and the lower the therapeutic effects of that meal will be. Another information is that overheating food denatures most of its vitamins, in addition to being responsible for the feeling of drowsiness after a meal.

The menu for fans of the Raw Food diet consists of several foods available in nature. For example:

Chocolate pie ( Raw Food )

Ingredients (pasta): – 1/2 cup [MH1] cocoa powder – 1/2 cup of carob – 1/2 cup ground almonds – 1/3 cup of agave syrup – 1/4 cup of cocoa butter


Mix all the ingredients. Line a small removable bottom form (20 cm), pressing well. Refrigerate the dough for an hour before filling.

Ingredients (filling):  – 2 cups of cocoa powder  – 1 and 1/2 cup of agave syrup – 3/4 cup of cocoa butter  – 1 pinch of vanilla (optional)


Beat all the ingredients in a blender and pour over the dough that was in the refrigerator. Freeze for another hour, at least.

Suggestion: decorate with strawberries.
